Social Walks

Weekly group social walks on the Mornington Peninsula

A informal group walk to spend time with your dog and improve their social skills.

We offer weekly social group walks to all our members. They are a fabulous way to break up your dogs day, providing benefits to your dog such as helping with socialisation, instilling good manners and increasing exercise.

Mornington Peninsula Dog Walks

Benefits of Our Social Group Walks

There are many benefits to both you and your dog when you join a PPPDCI social walk.

  • Keep your dog mentally and physically fit.

  • It’s intellectually stimulating for your dog to meet different types of dogs and people.

  • When your dog experiences new sights, sounds and smells, it is key in developing their confidence in unfamiliar or new situations.

  • You will meet like-minded people, get some extra exercise and discover new in different places on the Mornington Peninsula.

All members are welcome, with details of dates, times and locations of our walks posted on our Facebook page.

Our Dog Walks on the Mornington Peninsula

We vary the walk locations so our members can discover and enjoy different parts of the Mornington Peninsula and give their dogs a wide range of experiences. Walks can also include café stops, allowing members to expose their dogs to being close to people in public places and work on developing good dog manners.

Our walks locations have included:

  • Balcombe Creek Estuary Boardwalk & Cibo Deli

  • Bay Trail - McCrae to Anthony’s Nose

  • Rosebud Pier & Leash Free Beach

  • Rosebud Pier & The Hideout

  • Mornington Park to Beleura Cliff Lookout

  • Greens Road, Main Ridge
